“Tea is an act complete in its simplicity. When I drink tea, there is only me and the tea. The rest of the world dissolves. There are no worries about the future. No dwelling on past mistakes. There’s never a dull moment in Bir. When it’s not the people, it’s the gorgeous sunsets. A sky full of colors, enjoyed by one and all who congregate at the paragliding landing site as soon as the sun begins to set. There’s something so serene and fulfilling about sitting on the grass and looking into the valley, watching the sun play hide-and-seek with the clouds before finally, slowly, giving way to a starry night.  Chokling Monastery! 🌸 Hello from my home away from home in Bir! If you haven’t had rajma, maggi, and ginger lemon honey tea in Himachal, have you even been to Himachal? 😛 What’s your favourite thing about Delhi summers? For me it’s Amaltas and Aam 💛💛 Just a glimpse of the delicious, delicious food I got to eat in Bir! From fresh strawberry / mango cream cake and shakshuka at @june16cafe_ to unlimited cilbir at @bhoomi.cafe banoffee pie at @silver_linings_bir gunpowder fried idli @avva_cafe_bir and siddu, momos, and other snacks at the smaller, roadside joints! #foodcoma Amaltas meets Imam Pasand (aka Himayat aka best mango variety in the world) for brunch today! [A poem for all the butterflies I’ve loved before 🦋😛]
